To our valued Kroger associates,

Thank you for consistently showing the meaning of Our Purpose – to Feed the Human Spirit – by serving our customers, helping our communities, and supporting each other. Your dedication truly makes Kroger a great place to be.

We will begin negotiations on your Atlanta and Savannah contracts with UFCW Local 1996 on January 15th. I know these negotiations are important to you; they are also very important to me and to the company. Kroger is committed to contracts that accomplish three important goals:

1. Providing a total compensation package with good pay and benefits for our associates
2. Enabling us to operate our stores to meet customer needs and keep groceries affordable
3. Continuing efforts to make our stores successful in this changing and competitive retail environment
